November woods are bare and still;
November days are clear and bright;
Each noon burns up the morning's chill,
The morning's snow is gone by night.

It's time to talk turkey, think about pilgrims, reminisce on childhood holiday memories, do some thanksgiving crafts, and above all reflect on God's blessings and bounty.

Hi love your calender and so glad you remembered my patron saint St Andrew. Love Joan
Hi. I love your calender too. I love the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year we'll not have to spend either alone, will be sharing it with our son and his family. Love ya. I so love your entries, the warmth within them- the humor and love and heart.
Alberta Morning Pam,
Well you know I am older when I remember who Eddie Cantor is.
Watching some of the election bombardment on the TV and sorry I can NOT believe all the glitches that are involved in your elections.
I just found that I was in ignorance that you just went to the polls to place your vote for President.
I am glad that our national elections are called and about 2 months later it is all over.
We only vote for a particular MLA who represents the candidate we want in for Prime Minister.
Blessings on this beautiful November day.
Just home from my walk all about town.
We only have a few streets so that is not hard.
Love Lori (Alberta)
Evening Pam, Your picture made me chuckle as I remember uttering the expression "since sliced bread" to which my usually intelligent daughter wondered what I meant...
Hope that your day was special...we attended the cenataph by ourselves as they had the service in a church.
I was watching the TV and I think Obama needs to put near the top a priority of shaking up the Veterans Dept. So sad that they have so much red tape to go through for any help.
Blessings
Alberta Lori
